We are seeking a skilled and proactive System Administrator to join our team. As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our organization's computer systems and networks. Your expertise and attention to detail will ensure the reliable operation and security of our IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Install and configure hardware, operating systems, and software applications.
- Set up user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
- Configure and maintain network devices, such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Monitor system performance, resource usage, and network connectivity.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as system backups, software updates, and patch management.
- Identify and resolve hardware and software issues to ensure system availability and reliability.
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect systems and data from unauthorized access, viruses, and other threats.
- Monitor and audit system logs to detect security breaches and potential vulnerabilities.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and internal policies.
- Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshoot hardware and software problems, and resolve technical issues.
- Create and maintain system documentation, including configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux) and network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Experience in administering and troubleshooting server hardware, virtualization technologies, and cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
