What you'll do
RBS International Depositary Services S.A provides independent depositary services to alternative investment funds. We're the biggest independent depositary service provider in the UK and have a growing business in Luxembourg with an experienced Depositary Operations team.
You’ll oversee the processes and procedures of third-party administration and investment managers to ensure management company compliance. You’ll also review service level agreements and contractual requirements for our service providers for the various fund ranges, while working with the Legal team.
Along with this, you’ll be:
- Reviewing the delivery of regulatory changes at third-party providers and making sure processes used by third-party administrators are appropriate
- Ensuring that evidential standards and record management requirements are in place
- Implementing and managing the documentation retention process for regulatory documents, contracts, internal procedures, communications, reviews and projects for funds
- Carrying out and reviewing fund accounting oversight, including reviewing net asset values, capital activities and fair value pricing decisions
- Performing cash flow monitoring and recordkeeping of the fund's assets
The skills you'll need
We'll need you to have experience of the fund industry and an in-depth understanding of investment funds and Luxembourg regulations, particularly AIFMD. Having a background in depositary services and custody experience would be advantageous.
On top of this, you’ll bring:
- Excellent team working skills and an understanding of leader-leader culture
- Great communication, organisational, analytical and relationship management skills
- The ability to analyse and evaluate complex information to help sound decision-making
- Knowledge of relevant legal policies, regulations and risk management and an understanding of Luxembourg alternative funds and AIFMD regulations
- Experience of analysing and evaluating complex information to assist with the decision-making process and support management
