We are looking to hire a dedicated content writer to create content for blogs, articles, product descriptions, social media, and the company website. The content writer's responsibilities include evaluating analytics to adjust content as needed, writing social media content and copy, regularly updating the company's website, and promoting the company blog by pitching articles to various third-party platforms.
To be successful as a content writer, you should keep abreast of the latest SEO techniques. Ultimately, a top-performing Content Writer should be able to contribute to the development of strategies that will increase reader engagement.
Responsibilities
- Writing, editing and publishing engaging content for various social networks, including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
- Optimizing social media posts (language, tone, message) based on our target audience’s behaviors
- Coordinate with internal teams to create advertising posts (e.g. for events, open roles and product releases)
- Write B2C & B2B email marketing copy for a variety of different client types including flows, campaigns, and popups.
- Follow tone of voice and copy brand guidelines of our clients
- Write compelling content for print, web, product packaging, advertising, and marketing materials
- Produce well-written content that is SEO friendly and optimized for conversion
- Create compelling ad copy, landing pages, and marketing campaigns
- Write high-quality product descriptions and provide supporting content
- Collaborate with designers and creative teams
- Work with analysts to ensure messaging is consistent across the company
- Brainstorm and manage projects and juggle multiple deliverables
- Define key messages and brand voice for external communications
- Research and evaluate competitor marketing with a focus on content
- Research and analyze top SEO content topics
- Research and write long-form content on various relevant topics
Job Qualifications and Skill Sets
- Strong editorial, proofreading, and writing skills
- Proven record of excellent writing demonstrated in a professional portfolio
- Experience with SEO copywriting best practices
- Experience with social media and content marketing
- Experience with email writing and email marketing tools.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure
- Passion for writing with an excellent portfolio of work
- Proficiency with computers, especially writing programs, such as Google Docs and Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
