How will you be making a difference?
- Act as a strategic tax advisor by helping companies and individuals to meet their compliance obligations, advise on a broad range of tax matters, effecting change to transform our client’s tax functions through process improvement and technology enablement, and designing and implementing leading tax corporate governance policies and procedures.
- Help identify risk areas and sustainable planning opportunities throughout the indirect tax life cycle, helping organisations meet their compliance obligations and business goals around the world harnessing the power of technology
- Assist Australian/New Zealand based, and inbound global organisations structure their transactions, mitigate tax risk, implement transfer pricing models, and comply with tax laws in the most effective way
- Engage with revenue authorities with a view to preventing and managing controversy
- Identifying and securing access to government funding and investment vehicles including the Research & Development (R&D) tax incentive, cash grants, other incentives and concessional loans for investments, innovation, and growth.
We’d love to learn more about you if the following sounds like you:
- Consulting, advisory or accounting experience, data scientist or technology degrees, with experience either in the profession, in-house or in a broader Corporate or ATO context
- Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills with the ability to bring others on the journey
- Strong commercial acumen is a must, but beyond that we are looking for diverse skills, such as financial acumen, technology and transformation skills, entrepreneurial skills, creativity, and out of the box thinkers.
- Strong technical tax and accounting skills continue to be highly valued in our business.
- Whatever your background, an ability to take complex issues and translate them into easy-to-understand concepts for a broad range of stakeholders is highly desirable.
- Strong numerical, analytical and visualisation skills to create impactful presentations and inform decision making are positives.
