Administrative Assistant order/logistics [Belgium]


 

Spring Professional is looking for an administrative assistant for the order department of our client, a large international manufacturer of products that make our lives a little easier.

What will you do?

  • Placing orders for chemical products and consumables and checking and validating all details: availability of products, making sure it is about the right product, dimensions/numbers, prices, ...
  • Searching for suppliers for specific products
  • Follow-up of orders: respecting delivery deadlines, problem solving
  • Checking goods and safety data sheets to make sure that everything is correct and complies with regulations
  • Frequent telephone contacts with internal departments (to coordinate) and suppliers
  • Ensuring deadlines are met (internal and external communication, reminders, checking delivery deadlines and product availability)
  • Stock control of raw materials

Who are you?

  • You have a first experience in purchasing and/or customer support, within a logistics/warehouse environment is a plus
  • You are administratively strong, accurate, responsible, organized and pro-active
  • You have a full professional proficiency of English, both spoken and written
  • You communicate fluently with both internal departments and suppliers and are customer friendly and assertive
