Job Description
Our Client is a Shipowning company (20+ vessels, Tankers & Bulkers) based in Piraeus, and we are exclusively assigned the role of ‘Senior Superintendent Engineer’.
Your Responsibilities:
- Special survey, Dry Dock, and CAP attendance for Tanker vessels with responsibility for the complete repair.
- Compiling formal reports and defects with root cause analysis.
- Extensive traveling (around 150 days a year) for vessel attendance including sailing with the vessel for short periods for troubleshooting and follow-up on maintenance.
- Participation in the basics of the vessel Vetting process. Experience with Sire 2.0 is an asset.
Your Profile:
- Engineering Graduate to University degree level in Naval Architecture or Mechanical/Marine Engineering is an absolute must.
- Minimum 5, maximum 10 years of total experience in day-to-day superintendence of Tankers, ideally MR product chemical vessels, also.
- New Building experience as a site team member or site team manager for Tanker or BC projects in JKC areas.
- Experienced in MAN Diesel Propulsion including ME & ME-B electronic engines.
- Almost native English skills.
- Very strong computer literacy.
