COMPASS Group Australia are looking for additional Cooks and Chefs who have experience in volume industrial catering service style for remote Mining sites across Australia. Incredible opportunity to relocate to Australia on 482 visa working for with a global catering company with excellent benefits including the following;

This is a unique opportunity and exceptional opportunity if you have consolidated experience in oil and gas / offshore/ mining catering facilities, preparing and cooking breakfast, lunch, and dinner in onsite 'villages' up to 1500 – 3000 meals per day in depending on location; this is a demanding yet rewarding ‘Fly in Fly’ out role in Australia
About you;
- Minimum 5 years professional cooking experience
- You must have volume commercial cookery experience in a remote or cruise ship environment
- Large Buffet or busy Bistro style cookery and preparation experience
- Experience in large scale bain marie, brat pan cookery also beneficial
- Ideally have qualifications or trade experience equivalent
- Flexible and willing attitude, clear communication and customer service skills
- Immaculate grooming and pride in presentation
- Ability to manage your own sections and deliver a consistently high standard of food throughout service
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Food Hygiene compliance, knowledge and practices
