We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Unity 3D Artist to join our mobile game studio startup. As a Game Artist, you will play a critical role in creating captivating visuals and immersive environments, as well as actively participating in the design and ideation.As a founding member of our team, you will directly contribute and benefit from our company’s successes. Litejoy Games consists of industry experts backed by some of the most prominent investors in the mobile gaming space.
Tasks
- Creating high-quality 3D models, textures, and materials for characters, environments, props, and other game assets using industry-standard software tools.
- Collaborating with the design team to conceptualize and iterate on art styles, ensuring a consistent visual direction throughout the game.
- Implementing and optimizing 3D assets in Unity, ensuring they meet technical and performance requirements for various mobile devices.
- Creating and implementing visually appealing particle effects, animations, and visual effects to enhance the gameplay experience.
- Optimize and maintain the art pipeline and workflow to improve efficiency and streamline the art production process.
- Collaborating with external vendors, marketplaces and freelancers to supplement the internal art and UI production pipelines.
- A love for gaming, and preferably experience as a mobile player.
- A strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in creating high-quality 3D assets for mobile games.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling, texturing, and material creation using software.
- In-depth knowledge of Unity3D and its rendering capabilities.
- Strong understanding of game art principles, including composition, color theory, lighting, and visual storytelling.
- Experience creating optimized assets for mobile platforms, considering performance limitations and memory constraints.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Based in Berlin or willing to relocate/travel to our Berlin HQ regularly.
- (Optional) Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and the ability to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
- (Optional) Shipped a top-charting mobile game.
- (Optional) Understanding of the relationship between art and marketability within the mobile space.
