Job Purpose:
Drive business & profitable growth across selected customer portfolio groups in China by developing a deep vertical market focus and responsible for the performance of DBS through task guidance, direction setting and motivation of the workforce.
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities
- Develop and execute DBS sales strategy to increase market share and profitability in China by identifying new customers, products, technologies and market Segments.
- Address potential fast growth opportunities via executing appropriate B2C Grundfos Target Management strategy to increase brand awareness.
- Build a premier sales team by attracting, developing, and retaining the right talents and executing an active talent management approach; rapidly assess the strengths and weakness of the team and implement needed incentive compensation, training programs and other key initiative to achieve expected results.
- Develop proposals for the sales objectives, cost budget and the sales promotion plans.
- Develop and maintain an effective business relationship with the different customer categories such as the authorized dealers; tier 2 decoration companies, alliance partners, etc.
- Have regular performance coaching meetings with team members to ensure that we have the desired behaviors in developing customers & sales.
- Drive Facetime (activities with customers) and Pipeline Management (ensuring opportunities for future sales) within their teams, including follow-up on activities and opportunities in the global CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tool.
- Ensure that the customer categorization and prioritization reflect the sales strategy.

Required Minimum Qualifications
- University or Bachelor’s Degree, Encouraged
- Advanced University or Master’s degree preferred
- B2C working experiences are preferred
- 10 to 12 years of progressive sales leadership in a multi-location, international company culminating in the leadership of a sales and account management organization
- Superior track record of success ideally in an organization with a complex operating environment that includes multi-segment, multi-channel, multi-category sales and distribution
- A proven history of building high performing China area sales teams with a focus on shifting to performance driven cultures and to market growth driven activities
- A track record of creative problem-solving in the execution of strategic planning, process and channel. rationalization, and culture change
- Experience managing support functions and coordinating business unit activities outside of sales
- A proven track record of growing sales in the China and building strategic, long-term customer relationships
- Ability to break down complex problems in a simplified way, conduct root cause analysis and provide clear, well thought-out recommendations
- Ability to communicate in an open and authentic manner in all situations
